Typically we charge $800 per finished minute for Promotional videos, with the typical Stallion promo being between around 5 minutes to as long as 10 minutes for a stallion with lots of winning get. Typically a Farm promo will be from 7 1/2 - 15 minutes long, and usually be a more elaborate edit. Conversely, a basic sales tape will usually be around 2 - 3 minutes long and be a very simple edit with no special effects or narration, and those are considerably cheaper.
So, not including travel expenses...
A Stallion promo will usually cost between $2,500 - $8,000 depending on the complexity of the edit and the number of Get included. These tapes include an opening 3D Animation, Graphics, Script Writing, Music & Narration.
A Farm promo will usually cost between $4,000 - $12,000, and will include an opening 3D Animation, Graphics, Music and Narration. Additional special effects, such as additional Animation and complex graphics will add to the cost.
Sales tapes are basic tapes with few special effects. Graphics with Pedigree information and a music background is included. Prices will depend upon the number of horses included in the tape, please contact us for quotes.
Here's our basic hourly rates:
Video Photography
Includes camera operator experienced in equine videography and a professional 3CCD camera
$800 per day (8 hours, time over 8 hours is billed at $150 per hour additional)
$500 per 1/2 day (4 hours, time over 4 hours is billed at $150 per hour up to the day rate)
Travel is billed at $0.35 per mile, all other expenses are billed at cost
An additional operator and camera for 2 camera shoots is $500 per day.
Non Linear Editing:
$800 per day (8 hours, time over 8 hours is billed at $150 per hour additional)
$500 per 1/2 day (4 hours, time over 4 hours is billed at $150 per hour up to the day rate)
$150 per hour (1 hour minimum)
3D Animation:
Modeling & Layout: $150 per hour
Rendering: $40 per hour
Duplication:
Includes a printed box cover and appropriate labeling
VHS: 20 minute or less master 1 - 10 copies: $20 per copy 11 - 20 copies: $15 per copy 21 - 49 copies: $12 per copy 50 - 99 copies: $10 per copy 100+ copies: $9 per copy Add $3 per copy for masters 21 minute - 1 hour in length Add $5 per copy for masters over 1 hour in length

Please note that these pictures will NOT be of the quality that the Photographer gets, but they are good enough for web pages.
Search fee: $50 per class (searching thru the class footage for pictures of your horse)
$50 per picture, additional copies are $25 each
